Participants will learn the latest about the state of play on European data markets – including updated indicators – and brainstorm to identify new emerging data-related issues and analyse the emerging data ecosystem. The discussion will feed directly into the Data Market Study – a multi-year, European Commission-led project that aims to quantify the European footprint in this area. The project will produce an all new European Data Market Monitoring Tool later this year, which will be previewed in the webinar. Participants will also discuss the benefits, challenges and methodologies of opening up private sector data of public interest for public authorities.
