Home ยป Towards the Public Private Partnership on Data

The EC is working on the Public Private Partnership (PPP) on Data. This will be a mobilization of private and public efforts to support (big) data research and innovation as well as the creation of the European Data Economy.

The first results include a Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda document, a stakeholders-driven description of the main research challenges and necessary steps for building the data economy in the 5-10 years horizon.

The first draft of this SRIA is available under www.bigdatavalue.eu.

The document was subject of a public consultation that run through April 2014.

The results of this consultation were presented during the NESSIE-Summit on 27th May in Brussels.

The updated version of the report will be issued in mid-June.
